This customer usually requests for a single colour, but for this time, she asked for her hair to be done up more fancifully than usual in preparation for her wedding photoshoot. In accordance with her request, I decided to add in highlights and balayage to create contrast! |
| Advice from the stylist |
Using balayage and highlights, and going against the grain of the simple colours she has had up until then, I changed up her hair colour by adding slightly bolder accents, and setting her hair colour with the grayge technique. In this way, I managed to turn her hair colour into something fancier while retaining some of its naturalness. I also used a larger area of the outer section of her hair for the highlights to ensure that they would show up clearly in photographs! |

Although she usually goes for simpler colours, she was really happy she could get a fancier colour for her special day. She feels the change the new colour has given her every day at home! Her husband is also very happy with the change, so I hope to be able to let her try out other colours next time! |

As it goes, becoming a version of yourself different from your usual (look) can greatly uplift one's spirits! One can, of course, change up one's image with haircuts as well, but the (greater) variety of patterns made possible through colouring would allow one to go for image changes repeatedly! I hope to be able let more customers relish the joy of such experiences in the future! |
