What to know before visiting a hair salon?

Colouring of hair

We all know that the new hair colour dye will not remain the same for long. Your hair colour will definitely fade. Ways to reduce the change will be dying a darker shade of the colour you want.

2. Choose colour that will not require you to bleach your hair as bleaching will hasten the speed of your hair colour changing.

3.Do not perm or do rebonding after you dye your hair as the chemical used will change/fade the colour of your hair.

4. The use of colour shampoo can actually slow down the speed of coloured hair fading.

Drying of hair

Using a hair dryer to dry your hair shouldn`t be an action that is only done in the salon. Wet hair leaves your hair cuticle open which will allow the hair colour to fade more easily.
Before drying your hair, we recommend using hair oil to moisturise and make sure not to over heat your hair.

Hair Styling

Have your hair iron at around 150 degrees to not burn your hair.
Do not leave your hair in contact with the iron for more than 3 seconds.
Always apply heat protectant before using any heated appliances on your hair.
