Hello everyone, recently we have been getting a lot of questions on how to take care of your hair after rebonding or straightening it. So let’s go through some simple tips and tricks for mantaining your rebonded hair today!

Avoid tying your hair too tightly after rebonding

The rebonding chemicals break down the bonds in your hair so that the hair can be straightened. Thus, they are still fairly malleable even after the rebonding process. This means that if you tie your hair up too tightly, the stress from the hair band can bend the hair and curl it back. This also includes actions like pinning your fringe or putting your hair behind your ears.

2. Regular Home Care and treatment

For damaged hair, the hair is generally weaker and more brittle than usual. It is important to do frequent care for it at home to prevent the hair from becoming weaker. Regular home care + monthly treatment will ensure that your hair stays in the best condition

3. Touch up rebonding

Your hair grows at roughly 1cm per month. When the new hair grows out, the unstraightened roots will cause the hair below it to curl outwards. For people with strong natural curls, it is recommended that you rebond your roots every month to help keep it easy to mantain.

Having straight hair makes it easy to manage but taking care of it so that it lasts as long as possible is also very important!
