Highlights?!

Hello everyone! Linnah hard at work today too :p

Although we get several customers a week who come to colour their hair, I notice that not many of them decide to put in highlights! I think in Singapore, highlights are not very common because it tends to look a bit overdone and showy.

However, a tip from Yukie-san to good highlights is to make sure the gap in tones between the base colour and the highlights is not too big. For example, if you were to go for a #7 base, a #3 or #4 highlight tone would be good. This way, you can get more movement in your hair, and it can bring more life to an otherwise dark tone!

Of course, bright highlights on a dark base are a unique style as well, so don’t hesitate to consult with our stylists on what is the best look for you! ^^
