Haircuts For Your Face Shape

Hello lovelies, welcome back! Today, we’re going to talk about haircuts that compliment your very own face shape. I guess you could say that today’s post is way more fun to read and less dull compared to yesterday If you have no idea what shape your face is, feel free to read my previous post ” Discovering Face Shapes”.

1. Oval

Oval is the ideal face shape for a woman! What we’re going to do here is try our best to make our face look oval lol. You may reognize some celebrities with an oval face shape like Kim Kardashian, RIhanna, Bella Hadid, Queen Beyonce and some others! WIth an oval face, you can rock any haircuts and im being serious, ANYTHING because you already have an optimal face shape for a female. I love short blunt haircuts with no layers for those with oval face shape because it looks very edgy! OR a long blunt haircut that stops right at the chest if you prefer longer hair.

2. Round

For round faces, short haircuts that stops at the neck or collarbone are nice too but STAY AWAY from BLOWOUT and dont cut it around your chin area because it will only make your face appear rounder and flat! I definitely recommend having long layered hair with wispy layering around the face is going to make it look like you have cheekbones that you might not have and its going to add a little chizzle and just give you more shape.

3. Square

For square faces, you can either choose to accentuate the squareness of your face or soften the strong jawline. I recommend short bob if you want to show off that strong jawline and your face shape. IF you want the opposite, try soft wispy bangs that falls of to the side to soften the lines on your face to make it less square.

4. Heart

With this shape, shoulder hair tends to look the best because it adds volume around the bottom of your face creating the illusion of wider jawline. Celebrities like Tyra Banks and Kourtney Kardashian have typical heart shape faces. Try to avoid parting your hair to the middle because you have what it’s called the Widow’s Peak. Instead parting your face slightly off center to which ever side your hair falls to. Try to skip bangs to as that will make your chin appear narrower.

5. Oblong

For this, whatever hairstyle you go for, remember that you are looking for width rather than length so blowouts are typically recommended for this shape or flat iron waves! Avoid hair that is that too far mid length because it’ll lengthen your face. Avoid one hair length or super sleek looks which will make your face look longer.

6. Diamond

For diamond shape, your main objective is to accentuate your face rather than balancing anything out. Try side swept bangs to hightlight your gorgeous cheekbones with long layers. You can also opt for textured bob. Try middle parting with your hair tucked behind your ears or a sleek or messy ponytail to accentuate your pretty cheekbones!
