Samantha here again!

I’ve been reading a lot of books recently now that it’s the summer break for university students~
My current read is actually Murakami Haruki’s South of the Border, West of the Sun.
It describes the main character, Hajime’s life from when he was young and till he’s in his thirties.
All in his perspective, I think Murakami likes writing in first person narrative because it really does suck the reader into the ”Murakami world” since we usually feel like we can relate better given that it’s in first person account~
I’m only halfway into the book but I was so engrossed with reading it I actually missed my stop on the train and had to embarrassingly alight and take the return train to Holland V ^^;\\
I would totally recommend Murakami’s books to anyone that likes to ponder over the plot of a book/novel for a while, or if you like revisiting books that you have read once before!
I guess it’s also because I have studied literature before that I pay attention to quite a few elements in a book ^^
