CIRCUIT BREAKER

The past week has been such a rollercoaster. After the government’s announcement on their decision to have a circuit breaker on Singapore to prevent the situation from worsening, it has been harder to get into malls and shops (we do not even have to think about entering supermarkets), there was a slight internal panic as to whether salons will still be open or not, whether we will still have jobs or not.

Artnoise had initially sent a mass message to all our customers saying that the salon is closed for the circuit breaker period (7th April to 4th May) but we later corrected it to being open for just haircuts and blowdrys.

Now that everything has been rescheduled, there is no longer a need for us receptionists to report to work as we doubt there will be many (or if any) appointments coming into Artnoise.

However, there will still be 2 daily blog posts everyday, in case anyone actually keeps us with the blog or if anyone just stumbles onto this corner of the internet. I will be digging through the internet a lot more to find content to write about twice a day.

The salon will only be openfrom 11am to 5pm for haircuts and blowdrys only. There will be fewer stylists reporting to work to ensure a safe environment too. I saw that the government guideline for haircuts is for it to be done with gloves. I don’t know how that will affect haircuts, or maybe it doesn’t? I am just rambling here.

Everyone, stay home. Just stay home. The world will probably and hopefully never see a chance like this where all we need to do is STAY HOME. All the times we have complained of not wanting to go to work or school, well now all we get to do is stay home. Take it as an opportunity to rest up and catch up with family

Hopefully, after all of this we get our lives back, and we will all be more grateful for everything that we can’t do during this circuit breaker period. We can travel again, eat out again, meet up with friends again.
