Today our dear readers, let me welcome you to the world of hair straigtening!

Have you ever wondered how tedious it is to have to tie your hair everyday because your hair looks like shit/trash and it’s another level of trouble to use the hair iron just to make your hair look presentable? Yes, I know very well because my hair characteristics are: thick, coarse, wavy – and I can bet you $1k that every hairstylist that has received the very daunting (jk it’s not that bad just that I have a lot of hair) task to cut my hair will say these stuff: “You should rebond your hair” “You should jian bao (wtf was it in English again idk I’m famished, basically use some not-scissors scissors to make my volume lesser)”

And this is why rebonding is the Holy Grail to people who have hair like me.

And since recently our damn Instagram has been full of styles with color ~~and I don’t really want to write about color (although it’s cool to admrie but it’s so damn boring on this damn blog, like x number of color styles back to back)~~ that’s why I’m here to showcase that our salon also does rebonding too

And I know there will be people who are like

I’ll tell you how they do, not how I do because I’m only a broke uni student working to feed myself.

stylist will concoct the rebonding cocktail for you accordingly with consideration to your hair texture and wants (eg something something soft rebonding something something natural looking) – and then apply to your hair (for how long idk, it varies per individual)
after you finish waiting while scrolling instagram on your phone, the stylist will kindly invite you to the shampoo chair to wash off the rebonding cocktail fermenting on your hair
Then the stylist will nicely usher you back to your choped seat in front of the mirror and blow dry your hair
After your hair is given some unnatural wind to return it to the not soaking wet state, our stylist will produce ~~a magic wand jk~~ an ironing iron to iron straight your hair
then another cocktail is given to your hair ~~so that it can get drunk~~
then wash

by the way, if you greedy you want straight hair and crazy color (like those that you need bleach one) – I’ll tell you the disclaimer first: you can have both but your hair will be next level chao dar fried.

just an fyi really

also another fyi is: our stylists usually recommend you do your rebond and coloring (like those brown color kind) at least one week apart. Not say cannot do together (everything is possible if you try hard enough) but if you love your hair, you don’t want to one-shot let your hair process so much chemicals (like tell you one shot eat today and tomorrow breakfast+lunch+tea time+dinner+supper now, you also will eat until you want to cry so same logic lor)
