hello

today one of seiya’s customers said hello to me because she remembers me from when i gave her kansai travel tips last year in… august? please feel free to ask me for travel suggestions in the osaka/kyoto/kobe area (i lived there for 2 years and i took my friends/family sightseeing a LOT)

i’m going to introduce my favorite cat cafe, which is cat tail cafe in shinsaibashi, osaka

i like cats so i’ve stopped by quite a few cafes, but in my experience this has been the best one so far because

1) there is NO SMELL. they have over twenty cats and there is no smell!!! that is how careful they are with cleaning
2) the cats are allowed to roam freely so if they don’t like you they’ll just walk off. if they get tired they just go to a back room where customers can’t go
3) they really care for their cats, even if the cat doesn’t make money for them!! they used to have this cat that didn’t like people, so they put up a poster with his face on it asking people not to touch him because he doesn’t like it (and if he scratches you it’s your problem) he has since passed on but honestly… how many cat cafes would keep a cat like that??
4) they don’t allow children under 10. look children are great and all but they can be… rough… with animals… personally i travel with kids a lot so i wouldn’t be able to visit if i had them in tow but i think it shows how much they care for the welfare of their cats
5) they have this most adorable blog that is updated daily and tbh i really envy them because it must be so much easier writing a daily blog about adorable kitties than about fucking hair.

anyway my favorite boi mousse (moose?? the white scottish fold with the odd eyes) is still alive and kicking and climbing onto laps happily so please visit him if you get the chance. thanks
