did you know that long straight hair is surprisingly hard to maintain?

if you don’t have naturally pin straight hair and you don’t like messing around with a straight iron, that means rebonding. but repeated rebonding is very damaging for your hair, and the more times you rebond, the worse the result becomes. if your hairstylist advises you that you shouldn’t rebond your hair, don’t do it! you don’t want to end up with a frizzy damaged mess! just because it’s rebonding doesn’t mean that you’ll end up with perfectly straight glossy hair – if your hair is already chemically damaged, rebonding isn’t going to make your hair magically healthy again – quite the opposite, really.

customers with very long hair often complain that they have dry hair, which is understandable. oil is produced at the scalp, which is why the roots tend to be the most oily. without help, the oil produced by the scalp cannot travel all the way to the hair ends, hence the common complaint of dry ends! this is of course less noticeable for shorter hair lengths, but if your hair is waist or ankle length, you’re definitely going to notice. to help solve this issue, you should apply hair products on the lower half of your hair, and brush your hair regularly so that the oil on your scalp can be carried to the hair ends.
