Boar Bristle Hairbrushes

I know it sounds weird – brushing your hair with pig hair!? But natural boar bristle is actually really good at distributing the oil at the roots of your hair down to your tips! A good brushing session will redistribute the oil (meaning your roots will be less oily!), reduce frizz, and give your hair some shine.

That said, boar bristle brushes generally shouldn’t be used on wet hair, because they might cause breakage. Different brushes for different jobs!

For some reason, boar bristle brushes are pretty common in Japanese drugstores, but I feel like I don’t really see them in Singapore… Maybe we should carry them for retail at the hair salon…?
