Using hair oils

In Japan, hair oil is a popular styling product, and many stylists use hair oil as a finishing touch on their customers as well. This is because hair oil is a very easy and fuss free product for hair styling, and a little actually goes a very long way.

We know that in Singapore, there is always a worry about hair oil being too oily, and creating a greasy look that no one wants. However, with just a small bit, say about less than the size of a 10 cent, can help you get rid of baby hair and fizziness.

Always make sure to spread the hair oil onto your palms and finger tips, and lightly run your hands through your hair. Never touch your scalp, as that is what creates a greasy look. We only need the hair oil to be on your hair, never your scalp.

For more details, use your fingertips to rub the hair ends, for a little more dimension and shape.

You do not have to finish applying the hair oil onto your hair, so if you are left with excess hair oil left on your hands, simply rub it on your elbows or knees (dry areas). Many hair oils are organic, so you can apply it on other areas besides your hair.
