Styling with hair oil

Today we look at fluffy, gentle waves which is a very popular look in Japanese hair salons as it has the ability to compliment hair color very well.

Here are some instructions on how you can achieve similar waves.

start with curling the ends of your hair slightly outwards
grab small sections of your hair and curl them outwards
leave a gap inbetween each section and keep the sections small and curl loosely
curl small sections of the gap inwards
we are going for a very soft wave so do not worry about creating volume.
apply hair oil to finish the look

take the top section of your hair and curl the ends inwards
take small sections and curl them inwards and outwards alternatively to create movement to the hair.

take sections of your hair and repeat the pattern of curling your hair with a inward movement and outward movement
move upwards to your hair roots
curl your fringe outwards

take small alternate sections of your hair and curl them inwards at the ends

Whenever you are using oil to style hair, use quick movements to style your hair.

You can scrunch your hair or gently apply oil on your hair ends or end of your fringe with your thumb and index finger.

Never over apply hair oil and never apply on the scalp!
