Valentine’s Day

‘Tis I once again. No not that recept, but this recept. Here to share the abysmal knowledge and wisdom you never knew you needed within your lifespan. Again.

Valentine’s Day. A day to remember, be it for precious memories, to celebrate your love, or just another day in your mundane life. It is a day perhaps most dreaded by singles all around the world, and those with overbearing partners who care too much about specific dates when in a relationship.

PSA: You don’t need to validate your love with a specific day.

You have all year round for you to express yourself. Don’t give in to a social construct that forces you to meet up to ridiculous expectations. With that being said, doing anything specific for V-day is good and all but don’t do it just because of the particuar date. The same goes for all kinds of celebrations like anniversaries and what not.

Sometimes you need to focus on yourself. Particularly, your hair. Why spend money on extravagant dates when you can pamper yourself every once in awhile. Maybe this V-day season, it should be for yourself. Which brings us to the hair reccomendation for this post:

Simple and chic, with the right amount of airyness to set you apart from the rest. An overall brown hue with reddish undertones, the hair has been lightened in specific sections and areas to give it a ‘3D’ effect; complementing the airyness from hair styling. While this look will take some additional steps with a straightener or curler to create the natural wavy look, it is well worth the effort. Perhaps we will cover the “how-to” in another blogpost.
