The Secrets about Choosing the Right Hair Color

For today, we will reveal how our stylists choose/recommend colors that suit our customers! We will be sharing the general principles that our stylists follow in their decisions.

First off, our stylists decide if you fit into the yellow color or blue color category. What do you mean by yellow and blue? For example if you take the color red, brownish-red fits into the yellow category while violet-red fits into blue category. If you take the color green, emerald-green is yellow and dark green is blue. The stylists observe some physical qualities that determine if you go well with the yellow hue or the blue hue. Here are some :

1) Eye-color. It is not true to say that all Asians have black eyes. Some have lighter brown while some have very dark brown eye color. Generally, the lighter your eye color is, the more you fit into the yellow category while darker shades look better with blue.

2) Original Hair Color. Same division here, where darker hair tends to match well with blue hues and lighters shades look nice with yellow hues.

3) Facial Skin Tone. If your cheeks blush pink, then blue. If they blush to a beige-ish color, then yellow.

If you were yellow or blue for all three properties, then it is easy, you are either yellow or blue. If you ended up with a mix of yellows and blues, then the rest really depends on the other details, such as your preferences of style and fashion. Some hairstylists consider further divisions, where they categorize into spring, summer, fall, and winter hues.
