Red Violet Balayage

Hi everyone! I hope this week has been treating you well. We are finally approaching the end of the month!

Today we would like to showcase one of stylist Toshie’s recent works:

A red violet balayage. Unlike other common balayages (gray), this customer had a red violet colored balayage done. First, the parts to be dyed red was bleached once before color was applied. As the roots were not colored or bleached, damage to the scalp and hair roots is prevented. Toshie tried to do a natural gradation starting from the top to the middle (darker red) till the ends (bright red violet). Don’t you think this turned out rather nice? It is also especially fitting for the coming Chinese New Year!

For customers who are concerned about the damage coloring or bleaching will do to the hair, why not consider a warm colored balayage? A balayage looks good even if it starts further away from the hair roots. You will also be able to keep it longer as there won’t be a stark contrast when your hair grows out. Warm colors usually only require one round of bleaching to achieve unlike cool colors which requires two rounds of bleaching. Hence, do opt for warm colors if you are looking to reduce the damage done to your hair! Treatment and home-care is also recommended for those of you who often color their hair.
