Pop Culture Hair: Black Widow in Endgame (spoilers!)

Hello! Exams are over and now I’m back to work and cursed with writing these blogposts that no one reads.

I finally managed to watch Endgame (and avoided most major spoilers), but I got really distracted by Black Widow’s hair after the time jump…

Remember this blonde lob from before?

After the timejump, we got this!

It’s (probably supposed to be?) a grown out look from her previous blonde lob. So in 5 years, her natural red hair has grown quite a bit.

And it’s pretty!

But hair definitely doesn’t grow out like that.

If you bleach your hair and leave it to grow out, you’ll see a straight line marking where the bleach ends and the natural hair starts. And that isn’t an inherently bad thing (although I personally don’t enjoy that look). Just… Don’t expect your hair to grow out looking like Black Widow’s.

If you want to color your hair but still grow it out without looking weird, do let your hair stylist know! You could try a balayage. Not all hair salons/stylists can do this nicely, so you should definitely do some research before trusting someone with your hair!
