This is a rare longer style – maybe people generally don’t like super long styles in our hot, terrible weather?

This customer originally had hair down to her waist, and Keiko was a little shocked! It can be hard to maintain your hair’s health when it gets that long, so Keiko recommended a relatively shorter cut. She would have cut it shorter if left up to her, but this customer enjoys her long hair 🙂

Originally it was lighter in color, and turning yellow, which Keiko felt looked a little dirty. As such, she recommended a darker ash-type color – it’s dark enough that it looks almost black in the photo, but it’s actually a dark ash brown.

Recently we’ve been getting many inquiries about perms, but sadly most of the photos that we’ve been shown are actually styles done with hair irons! The same goes for this particular style – Keiko did it with a hair iron. Curling hair does require some effort, especially for ladies who already have packed morning schedules, but it tends to be less damaging for the hair since it doesn’t require chemicals like a perm does. Why not consider trying out an elegant, princessy style like this?
