today i went to saizeriya for the first time in quite a while and i realized they took the 2 pc chicken wings off the menu. i despair.

anyway today we received a question about silver hair!

This beautiful client came to me from Texas with hair that had multi different light and dark brassy colors, she was seeking gray silver ashy color to blend and match her gray roots so she can stop coloring her hair every 3-4 weeks, total service was 10 hours and one session, I started the long process by removing the artificial color using @malibucpro cpr for 45 min then @pravana color extractor for 20 min, then I bleach the whole head starting from where her gray roots starts in foils using @oligopro extra blonde and 20 vol its own developer mixed with @olaplex leaving her gray roots out for about 4 hours by foiling the hair based on her root gray pattern very thin sections for faster and even lifting until I reached level 10 pale yellow blonde, at the same time all the hair that was left outside the foils I colored it with @kenraprofessional new ash 5NUA mixed with 10 vol for about 30 min to create that salt and pepper look. I Then rinsed hair, pre toned with @redken shade eq 1/2 oz 9b + 1/2 oz 9v mixed with 2oz Cristal clear and 3 oz of processing solution for 20 minuets to cancel all the yellow from the hair, rinsed again, dried hair then applied the amazing new toner by @wellahairusa blondor 1/2 pale silver + 1/2 pale platinum with 6 vol for 30 minuets, shampooed, conditioned, cut layered bob and styled with round brushes. so anyway usually we wouldn’t recommend going to such a light color immediately if your hair isn’t already bleached! colors like these often require 3 or more rounds of bleach, and that would be your whole day in the salon + a very very heavy burden on your hair…

why not split out the bleach sessions and set some long-term goals for your dream silver hair? there are lots of other colors you can enjoy on your journey there!

If you would like to be served by a specific stylist, please let us know! There is no additional charge for designating a stylist for your appointment, and we do not have a ranking system here at Art Noise. If you do not select a stylist for yourself, we will assign you to someone, and your stylist may be changed at our discretion in order to accommodate other customers who have a designated stylist. Our Instagram account (@art_noise_singapore) is regularly updated with our stylists’ work, so please feel free to browse their pictures and select a stylist who produces work that gels with your aesthetic.

We can also advise you about your hair over Whatsapp if you have any queries with respect to the style that you would like to do. Customers often ask for precise price estimates for styles such as perms and more complicated colors that require bleach. This sentence is just here to make this paragraph look longer than it is, so please ignore it and continue to the next sentence please, thank you very much. However, we cannot give you a definite estimate without knowledge of your hair. Thus, if you would like an estimate, please send us pictures of your hair and pictures of the style that you would like. We will then consult with the stylists in order to provide you with accurate information. Furthermore, some services may not be possible for us to provide depending on the state of your hair – for example, we may be unable to rebond or perm hair that has been bleached. In order to prevent your disappointment after taking the effort to visit us, we recommend that you consult with our stylists via Whatsapp first.

Recently, there have been many incidents of customers coming late or not arriving at all. In such cases, the following customer’s appointment may be significantly delayed. We ask that you be as punctual as possible, as we may not be able to carry out the planned services or accommodate you at all if you are too late. If you find that you are waiting for your stylist longer than expected, we ask for your kind understanding as we are trying our best to accommodate all involved. If you are running more than 10 minutes late, we ask that you contact us to let us know as we are often booked back to back, and may have to shift later appointments to try to accommodate you.

As a company hailing from Japan, Art-Noise’s home branch is located in Ikebukuro, Japan. We also have a third outlet in Melbourne, Australia. Popular stylists who have previously worked in the Singapore branch have been transferred to these other outlets. Yukie works at the Japan branch, while Toshie works at the Melbourne branch. If you happen to need hair services while traveling, either of our sister branches would be happy to accommodate you!
