For this customer, Seiya did a light gradation style using the balayage technique! While it may look like there are 2 colours in the picture due to the lighting (we use a ring light for our pictures!), Seiya only used a single brown colour for this style!

One of the advantages of the balayage technique is that it can be used to create ombre and gradation styles, giving one’s hair much more dynamism than standard single-tone colours, and allowing one’s hair to look different under different lighting!

For customers who prefer darker, more subtle colours but dislike plain boring black, the balayage technique can be used to create subtle gradation styles that would not look out of place at your standard office workplace, such as the above! So why not give balayage colours a try for your next visit?

On a final note, we would like to remind our customers that Chinese New Year is approaching and all our stylists’ Saturday and Sunday slots until the CNY weekend have been completely filled up!
