As you can see from the picture above, the dark hair creates a contrast against the denim jacket (which is a statement piece that I’m sure most of us have!). At the same time, the curls help to create volume to the hair, which is something that most of us want to achieve in Singapore, as the humidity tends to make our hair very flat!

With pictures like these, we also get many questions like Can I achieve this with a perm? Well, the answer is that many times, these curls aren’t achieved with a perm but rather, with a curling iron instead! So if you don’t find yourself being the type to spend money on getting a perm, you can still get curls like these by using a curling iron! It may not be easy to learn how to use it, but it gets easier as time passes! I speak with experience, haha!
