Covering up grey hair

Hello everyone!
Today I’d like to share with all of you readers two interesting ways to cover up grey hair, and why you shouldn’t dye your hair black!

1. You can choose to colour your hair a lighter colour (e.g. ash grey) but the downside is that when the colour fades, the hair turns yellow-ish. Of course, with a lighter hair colour it means that the grey hair will not be fully covered, just blended in with the new hair colour.

2. Another way out is to make an ombre hair colour where the top is darker and then the ends are lighter (e.g. violet). Since there will not be bleaching involved, the violet is slightly different from the black/dark colour and you can only see it more obviously with the naked eye under direct sunlight/outdoors.

One of the most common methods of covering up grey hair would be to dye the whole head red, but since everyone is doing it, we strongly recommend you to try experimenting other colours and methods to do so!

Some people would often ask, why not just dye black to cover up the grey hair?
The disadvantage of black dye is that it makes it very hard to apply any other colours onto your hair after you have dyed black. Therefore, if you are not committed to black hair colour, we do not recommend that you dye it black as it will take quite some time for you to be rid of the black dyed hair.
