As you can see from the picture, nearer to the roots, the brown hair becomes streaks instead of full colour, leaving streaks of black hair up to the roots. This allows individuals to grow out their hair and yet look natural due to the streaks of black hair which helps to blend the black roots that grow out eventually.

Brown is also one of the most common colours people would choose to dye their hair to, as it is not too striking, but changes the impression of one due to the lighter colour.
