Why should I blow dry my hair?

Hi everyone, today I would like to share some tips on taking care of your hair!

Is your hair dry and frizzy? “Even though I shampoo and condition my hair regularly, and go for hair treatment, why is my hair still so dry??” This is a worry that many of our customers come to us with.

One likely reason for this is that many Singaporeans don’t dry their hair properly before their sleep. Many Singaporeans usually just towel-dry their hair, and leave it to dry naturally with the air. THIS ISN’T GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR!

When your hair is wet, the cuticles of each strand are open. This makes your hair more sensitive, and as a result of the friction from your pillow, or even your hair itself, the cuticles will start to peel off. This is a cause of split ends and hair breakage.

In fact, if you don’t dry your scalp properly, microorganism tend to multiply. This causes itchiness and odor.

Many people have a misconception that using a hairdryer will cause your hair to become even more dry. This is not true! A possible cause for dryness is putting too much heat on one place for too long. When drying your hair, make sure to hold the hairdryer at a distance, and move it around. Adjust the temperature if necessary.

Although it might be a little troublesome, but it goes a long way for your hair Let’s try to dry our hair properly before we sleep!
