Simple Ways To Care For Your Hair At Home!

Here in Singapore, we have a lot of rain as well as humidity. As a result, I’m sure there are many who find their hair being very hard to manage, or even frizzy. Which is why I’d like to talk about how to better care for your hair on a daily basis, so that your hair can be manageable even on rainy days.

It is extremely important to take proper care of your hair everyday in order for your hair to maintain its style, especially on rainy or humid days. Why is that so? That is because, by caring for your hair properly everyday at home, your hair will be not as damaged, and as a result, your hair can maintain being neat and tidy, without the frizz.

Some simple ways to care for your hair at home!

1) Are you properly drying your hair after your shower everyday? Please make sure to dry your hair completely and properly, if not the protein inside your hair will not be locked in your hair strands, and your hair will be damaged. Your hair won’t be manageable in that case.

2) The lower the temperature of the water is when you’re shampooing, the better it is for your hair, as it won’t stress out your hair that much.

3) The strength of the water flow of your shower faucet is important as well, if it’s too strong, the nutrients in your hair will be forced out, leading to damaged hair. So make sure that the water flow is just nice, to ensure your hair maintains its health.

4) Try to wash your hair with just warm water first for a couple of minutes before using shampoo. By washing your hair with just water first, you will then use lesser shampoo which will be less damaging to your hair in the long run.

5) If you use conditioners or hair treatments (after shampooing) with more proteins infused in it, it’ll be less damaging for your hair, which will help your hair to be more neat and manageable.

6) Remember to use leave-in hair conditioner/treatment after getting out of the shower!

7) When you’re drying your hair with a hair dryer, try to not put it on such a high heat setting as well as to maintain a distance between the hot air and your hair.

8) Try to visit a hair salon once every month, to help upkeep your hair condition while undertaking advices from professional hair stylists.
