Point Rebonding for your Fringe

Your fringe is the place where your natural waves become the most visible. Unfortunately, the straightening effects do not last very long for the fringes, especially in very humid climates.

Having grown up with a very “Japanese fringe” myself, I speak from experience that it is extremely frustrating when your fringe fails to flow in the way you want it to be.

But do not worry! It is totally possible to apply straightening to just your fringe through Point Rebonding. The Point Rebonding menu is very efficient for our customers as it will remove the unwanted natural wave from your front hair, where it is the most visible. If you are also worried that your fringe will be too flat, please don’t! Before applying the second round of chemicals during Rebonding, our stylists will make sure to curl it (with a curling iron) a little bit so that it will not look unnaturally flat.

This is a guideline to the ideal time span of rebonding (advised by our staff):

1. Do rebonding for your whole head.

2. One month later, revisit the salon for treatment.

3. Two moths later, do point rebonding for your front hair.

4. Three months later, revisit the salon for treatment.

5. Four months later, do rebonding for your whole head.

*Please note that the ideal time span may differ depending on the quality of your hair.

Lastly, please do not forget that rebonding can be quite damaging for your hair. After rebonding, it is very important to keep your hair conditioned and treated. It is not as easy as saying, “the last time I did rebonding was 4 months ago, so my hair should be okay.”

We highly recommend frequently coming to our salon and taking our treatment (perhaps about once every month). But also do not forget to take care of your hair at home as well
