How to dry your hair

First of all, towel dry your hair after shampooing and immediately blow dry with a hair dryer after.

Many find it a hassle to blow dry everyday. Furthermore, the heat from the hair dryer may be unbearable to some especially in this hot weather.

However it is important to note that drying your hair is the first step in creating a hairstyle! Therefore we recommend you to style your hair from the hair drying stage.

First, concentrate on drying the roots while positioning the wind from the dryer accordingly. Gently ruffle your hair to the ends slowly, drying the hair entirely. By doing so, you avoid damaging the hair ends by heating the hair ends too much.

If you dry your hair from the ends first, the hair ends withstand the heat for a longer period of time, causing damage from over drying.

Follow the flow of your hair while drying, bringing your hair forward. For those with long hair, you can finish drying your hair by facing down and using the hair dryer to blow your hair downwards from the top,

Many blow dry the hair upwards from the bottom as it can be easier to hold the hair dryer that way however it can result in the hair settling in a weird manner.

Though it may take a little more effort, do make it a point to hold the hair dryer at a higher position. Positioning the wind from the top, blowing downwards to not go against the natural flow of your hair. Otherwise you may find your hair fluffing up at awkward places, making it difficult for you to style it at the end.

Not to mention blowing your hair in the opposite direction damages your hair cuticles, causing your hair to lose moisture and nutrients.
