Haircare tips when travelling

Don’t we all hate a bad case of airplane hair? Personally, I have always arrived at a new country with flat disgusting hair, and I thought it was just me. Turns out, there are several factors that causes airplane hair such as the dry in-flight cabin pressure, the reactions of humectants in your products to the environment, and airline seat fabric.

To avoid having dry hair on the airplane, you can give your hair some love with a deep conditioning treatment a day or two before your flight. Before leaving for the airport, you can apply a cream base styling product to ensure your hair stays hydrated on the flight.

Alternatively, a fool proof way to leave the airplane looking cute without dry and/or flat hair, would be to have it in a cute hairdo. A common choice would include braids, and you can undo these braids for natual looking waves at the end of your flight.
