Daily hair tips – blowing your hair!

Hello, Linnah here again today.

Today I’d like to talk about one thing that our stylists always complain that Singaporeans don’t do… Blowdrying your hair!

I know many of us are guilty of just leaving our hair to air-dry, or even sleeping with our hair wet… This is actually one cause of dry hair, as when your hair air-dries, the natural moisture in your hair evaporates along with it.

I’d like to share a few tips on blowdrying your hair. For today, I’ll start with the basics.

When blow drying your hair, start with the fringe – blow it in the direction that you want it to flow, and pull on it lightly with your fingers. Next, blow dry the roots of the hair, as that helps with scalp care like itchiness and dandruff. After that, blow dry the roots in the way that our stylists suggest for your particular haircut. For example, if your hair is permed, twist your hair while drying it to keep it in shape.
