Brushing before washing.

First, brushing through and making each strand is untangled before washing is important. Not only does brushing help to prevent tangles, it removes dirt and dandruff from the hair which prevents split ends and hair breakage. A brush made of natural pig or boar hair is recommended

Drying before you sleep

When your hair is wet, the cuticles of the hair open up, if you sleep while it is still wet, it damages the cuticles. Leaving it half dry and sleeping causes bacteria to build up and causes unwanted odours. Its is recommmended to dry it before sleeping.

Using a hairdryer properly

A lot people tend to up the temperature to make their hair dry faster, however is is better to use one that can be set to a lower heat setting to prevent damage. If the dryer is unable to change the temperature, putting the dryer a distance from the hair to prevent direct contact with the heat.

Once hair breakage or split ends occurs, it is very hard to fix it. Do consider the recommendations above and work towards preventing hair breakage and hair loss by eating properly and reducing stress, start the treatment from the inside of your body.
