Styling a short perm

I had my short hair permed once, but it was a total failure because I did not know how to blow dry my hair. So like many of you, the perm which was there when the hair was wet disappeared when I was done drying my hair.

As shown in the video, when drying your hair, it should be dried halfway through, before applying a styling product. In this case, it was moose. In Japan, the ‘wet’ look was pretty in trend, and it has not died off yet. So, do not worry about styling your hair before it has been completely dry.

If you want to know if a perm look works for you, you can try styling your hair with a permed image in mind first. If you think it looks good and isn’t too much work to handle, you might even want to consider keeping to styling your hair everyday to save the money and save your hair some damage. If you really want to get your hair permed, go ahead but make sure you don’t regret it and get your hair straightened afterwards.

Many customers get their hair permed, and when they don’t like it, they get their hair straightened. This does terrible damage to your hair. This is because the strong chemicals in both perm and straightening processes break down your hair’s natural form. When you decide to perm or straighten your hair after such strong chemical processes, it will not return your hair to its natural form, neither will it look natural. The result will be damaged and unnatural looking hair.

So please, consult your hair stylist carefully, and make sure that you want to get a perm or your hair straightened. If you are not ready for such commitment, please stick to styling your hair.
