I suggested to bleach the top part of his hair to lighten the color and apply purple color on it. While it looks purplish in the photo, his hair was actually rather orangey after bleaching. Hence, I mixed a bit of blue in to rid the orange and the resulting color appeared to be bluish purple. |

Dying the shorter parts of his hair and the roots dark bluish purple created a gradation, and the bleaching of the hair ends created a vibrant purple color. A gradation color allows for a less obvious contrast when the customer's hair grows out, and will look good even when his hair is longer. |
