Men’s hair styling

Hello everyone, Justin here.

The haze has been quite bad recently and many seem to be falling sick due to it..But that’s not what i want to talk about today!

A lot of the blog posts have been about styling long hair so for today I’d like to share some tips for styling men’s hairstyles that I picked up recently. So for guys, the overall silhouette or shape is one of the most important things to take note of. When using the wax, try to apply it evenly throughout the whole head and scrunch up the areas you’d like to create volume in. One point to take note of would be the back, most people tend to forget about it as they can’t see in in the mirror. Creating volume at the back of your head will change the overall shape of your hairstyle so everyone should try experimenting with it!! If you are sporting medium long style like me, you can try sweeping it forward so that it can been seen from the front.

Last but not least, Kanako’s recommendation is that hairspray is really important as well. Due to Singapore’s humidity, Wax does not have the holding power to last you an entire day, especially if you’re going to be outdoors. The hairspray will help you to hold the style there ensuring you look good for the entire day
